I am pleased with the new PS3 Slim I'm not going to list a whole bunch of facts already given just what I like better about the Slim. First I like how qiuet the hardware runs no more annoying loud fan noise after a few hours of gaming. Its a cool sounding hum. Some people think the 120g hard drive is not enough but for me its just right. As an owner of an original 60gig PS3, 60g was not enough I don't think I need any more than 120g. I like that they now come with the DualShock 3 controller, thats a plus. I really like what Sony has done to improve the hardwareand lowering the price. I would recommend to those that are interested in buying one to go ahead and get it before the "playstaion4" and "Xbox420" start to become rumors.

i have had this unit for about a week now or 8 days , must say the Blu ray ,kicks butt,great in 1080 ,But : compared to my many other gaming units , this dude is running Very hot after just 1 movie,or playing a game for about 2 hrs. even none of my 360's did this or do this which is why i now have 2 of the elite's R.E. Special Edition ,1 was a gift from someone, weird or strange besides the heat, is that with the great technology of wifi, when i use my ps3 to go live for anything mainly looking around on ps home and store,(i personally don't play online) within an hour or 2 it screws up my Router which is mint shape ,and then my 360 and last but not least my internet connection, all 3 knockouts for the price of 1 , (not good).will make a few calls to see what the future holds with this very affordable new unit ,do not need all these headaches,my specialty is law enforcement ,but 1 of my associates has been involved with all this for years and does think the problem is this unit..time will tell. and NO i don't need any of you experts to say, well it probably isn't set up right , Wrong ...
